Win+Alt+A waits for a taskbar number

Number badges appear above the taskbar buttons for 3 seconds. A WinCraft line shows at the bottom.

  • Press a digit. The strip opens above that button, with that window selected.
  • Press Win+Alt+A again. The strip opens for the app in front.
  • Press Esc or another key, click, or wait 3 seconds with no key. Then nothing happens.

Arrow keys in every strip

The ←→↑↓ keys move the selection, and Enter opens the window.

  • Ctrl+←→ moves a window within its monitor.
  • Ctrl+Shift+←→ moves it to the next monitor.
  • Ctrl+Shift+↑↓ moves it to the next desktop.
  • Alt+←→ still changes its taskbar number.
