WindowDeck

Keys work while the mouse is on the hover deck

Point at the taskbar button of an app and move the mouse up into WindowDeck. Now these keys work at once, without a click:

  • digits and Shift+digit,
  • the arrow keys, Enter and Esc,
  • Ctrl+W, Ctrl+N and D.

F2 opens the rename box.

The app you were typing in keeps the keyboard. Only those keys go to WindowDeck, and only while the mouse is on it. A line at the bottom of the deck says so.

Win and Alt work as before. They close the hover deck, so Win+number and Alt+Tab behave as in Windows.
