Command palette
Up and Down in the search box
Up and Down move through the results of the palette without moving the text cursor in the search box.
Drag from the search box
You can also drag the palette from the search box. Press and hold to the right of what you typed, or anywhere in the box while it is empty, and move. A click there still puts the cursor in the box.
