  • Drag cards to reorder, click to switch, right-click to close or move
  • Turn it on in Settings, the tray menu or the palette
  • Win+number and Alt+Tab work as before

Arrange strip

Arrange strip on taskbar hover

This feature is off by default. When it is on, rest the mouse on the taskbar button of an app with two or more windows. The WinCraft Arrange strip opens above it, instead of the thumbnail preview of Windows.

  • Drag cards to reorder windows.
  • Click a card to switch to that window.
  • Right-click a card to close the window or move it to another desktop.

WinCraft knows every change, so your order survives a reboot.

Turn it on or off

  • In Settings → Plugins → LayoutKeeper.
  • In the tray menu, with "Arrange strip on taskbar hover".
  • With a palette command.

A slider sets how long you rest the mouse. The range is 0.2 to 1.5 seconds, and the default is 0.4 seconds.

Nothing else changes

Win+number and Alt+Tab work exactly as before. Apps with one window keep the preview of Windows.
